Getting organized
I’m the worst person in the world when it comes to organization. I tend to throw all my important documents into a little bag, which then gets thrown into another bag... which then gets thrown into another bag... which then ends up lost amongst the million bags I carry. But I’m determined to organize my life and get my documents under control.

When I discovered RODTNES bags during LFW I was instantly sold. They’re chic and minimal plus totally functional. There’s nothing worse than a great handbag that has no inner pockets or a wallet that has no spot for your change or cash. RODTNES bags fuse practicality with grown up sophistication, which is exactly why I love them so much. The owner of the company, Mette Rodtnes, is also an incredible woman. She lived in Zurich (love) and now resides in Denmark. Her goal is to create bags that real women want to carry and that work in real life.
Exactly my cup of tea.

// ON STICKING TO CLASSICS //
Sometimes I get bogged down with fashun.
My mind gets all cluttered with the idea of attaching sequins to water shoes or wearing socks with sandals. I get fixated on oversized coats and slip on shoes. I troll style.com and Pinterest, scroll through the endless pages of Net-a-Porter like a robot in a trance... looking, searching for the next great thing. Then I snap back to reality. I remember that in fact there are plenty of things in my closet that I love and can wear. I don't need to buy into any trends or get anything new because really what I love (and want to wear) are the classics - of which I have plenty.
Pea coats, Breton stripes, skinny jeans - these are my default items. Each season, regardless of what comes in and out of fashion, these are the pieces I wear over and over again. All I need to do is take off the jacket and swap the boots for Birks and, voila, I've got my summer uniform sorted.

ARMY GREEN FROM TBA...
I'm currently completely obsessed with this coat from TBA. It's a boxy fit with contrasting leather panels, which I love. It also has shearling around the neck which gives it an even cosier feel. Lately I've been wearing it with mens knitwear underneath and skinny jeans.

FLORAL DRESSES AND BIKER JACKETS...
Probably the most basic outfit combination ever but I like it for its simplicity. This is what I wore on the first day of London Fashion Week.

SUNDAYS WERE MADE FOR FLOWER MARKETS...
I love being in London on a Sunday.
Whenever I am I make sure to hop over to Columbia Road for the flower market. It has the absolute best atmosphere and the most insanely priced flowers I've ever seen. If I lived in London I'd be filling my flat with them every week. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend. xx

White Leather
Last week I got to spend the day with my love Charlie May in East London. We rode Boris Bikes, which I thought would be horrifying, but actually were so much fun. If you're in London get your booty onto one. You'll be glad you did.
It's the weekend and I'm itching to get outside.
So let's just keep this sweet and simple. Last week I got to spend the day with my love Charlie May in East London. We rode Boris Bikes, which I thought would be horrifying, but actually were so much fun. If you're in London get your booty onto one. You'll be glad you did. Just ride responsibly, ok? Make sure you look over your shoulder, signal, and all that good safety shizz.
By the way, how freaking awesome is the leather jacket? Charlie let me wear it only after I promised to run my entire house off the generated energy of a group of people cycling. Uhhh... sorry Charlie, I lied, I'm not going to do that.
p.s. watch out, I will run you down and I take no prisoners....

Lady in red
Red is so not my colour. That's what I thought, at least, before I wore this jacket. It's the embodiment of all things wonderful and wearable about fashion. Throw it on over anything and you instantly look mega chic.
Red is so not my colour.
That's what I thought, at least, before I wore this jacket. It's the embodiment of all things wonderful and wearable about fashion. Throw it on over anything and you instantly look mega chic - it is a miracle worker. I love that it has a sort of über glam Parisienne (Balmain-esque - with the exaggerated shoulders) flare but also packs a nitty-gritty punch. The imperfections are what make it so perfect. Frazzled edges and strips that look as though you've taken a razor blade to the fabric - so yummy. Destruction is hottt, especially when it's faux and comes in the form of Iro.
Wearing: Iro jacket (My Wardrobe), American Apparel tri-blend racerback tank, 7 for all Mankind skinny jeans, Lucy Folk bracelets (Pfeffer PR), Maison Scotch clutch (Sane), Muriee cashmere scarf, Versace sunglasses and Balenciaga boots.

Hooked
The truth is I have a problem.
I'm not too sure when it started, but I'm undeniably addicted to grey tri-blend t-shirts from American Apparel. When we moved over to Zurich a couple of months ago I only brought a suitcase with me. The rest of our stuff is sadly still sitting in a storage unit outside Oxford. So what did I choose, out of all my worldly goods, to bring with me in my one suitcase? Well, by the look of it a big pile of grey t-shirts. Seriously, what's a girl to do with a cabinet full of t-shirts?! And, embarrassingly... these are just the grey ones. I've got more in blue, black and white.
So, now you know... I'm full on addicted to AA tri-blend t-shirts and it's a little embarrassing. On normal days you're pretty much guaranteed to find me wearing one, I just can't help it. Am I the only one that goes all out nuts for one item? Please tell me I'm not.
